The website is gone. The lesson remains.

I accidentally deleted my own website.

This is, admittedly, not the strongest branding move for someone who works in software engineering.

But there is something beautifully educational about becoming your own incident report. No clients were harmed. No production systems went down. Just my personal website, its content, and my ego.

So for now, bobgoedkoop.nl is offline while I rebuild it properly.

Backups are only theoretical until the restore is needed.

The next version will be cleaner, simpler, and very much backed up.
